4 things

Please excuse me while I brag describe why my life just got really awesome the past few weeks.

1. I get one of these in August and get to learn how to teach my kids using them. I get a whole classroom set of 35 Ipads this year and next!

2. I got accepted to volunteer here. I get to teach English to immigrants and refugees this fall. I'm thinking I want to get my master's in something related to teaching English and such (I'll describe to you later if you want) so I'm excited to get some hands on experience. Also, I'm super excited just to help out with this. This center is really great and has wonderful programs set up and I'm so happy I get to use my time more wisely to do good!

3. In August:

I get to see Andrew Bird. I think I'm going to have him sign my violin or something. (You don't have to watch the whole thing)

I'm also going to see Mumford and Sons. For a long time now, my friend Sam and I have been hoping and hoping they would come to Utah. You can only imagine how excited I was when I heard their concert announcement on the radio!

Now if I hope really hard, maybe Jack White will come...

4. Two of my favorite bands announced really long awaited CD's due out this fall.

The Killers (my favorite song...and video)

No Doubt (Am I a child of the 90's and early 2000's? Yes, yes I am. And I love No Doubt)

Yup I really did put more movies on this blog. Maybe next time I'll actually post pictures? Maybe...
